Class Sponsor Dinner
This year I joined the freshman class as a class sponsor. It was a stretch to teach seniors all day and then play with the freshmen at class parties. Class sponsors work with the class officers to plan parties, run elections, and help the class bond. I have spent a lot of time down the hall in English 9 during my prep period -making myself known to the freshmen so they feel comfortable hanging out with me at parties. Another job of the class sponsors is to support the student council supervisor at school activities. We are the workforce that helps make events successful. Currently there are 4 freshmen class sponsors; next year we will add another couple as the Sophomore year increases in responsibilities. It helps that we have had a very responsible class president, You Jin, which has made our job very easy.
