Four Corners of my Day

I spend 5 periods a day in my classroom. It starts out in August as bare white walls and I steadily add study aids as we go from lit period to lit period.

We fit 21 desks in but the maximum class size is 20. I have the smallest room on my floor which is nice - it limits the number of students who can be put in one section.

The challenge for the high school teacher is covering our walls. There is a plethora of pre-made materials for elementary teachers. I have struggled over the years with how to make my room aesthetically pleasing and meaningful. That has sparked creativity out of necessity and I have slowly filled up the walls with materials made for my units.
